How are you using LEP?
I include LEP in the Conservation District’s Annual Backyard Conservation Camp. I also use LEP during presentations to conservation districts, civic organizations, Pheasant Forever meetings and to challenge producers to think about the consequences of their actions.
What are your goals for the coming year?
I would like to train more Colorado Conservation District employees in the use of LEP at their youth events and increase the number of participants in the Backyard Conservation Camp.
Why is LEP important?
I believe LEP provides an ethical behavior framework that can be adapted to all ages. It encourages the reconnection of our society to the land. LEP provides me with a great network of environmentally aware associates that give me guidance and encouragement when needed.
