How are you using LEP?

In addition to conducting LEP workshops, I work closely with the naturalists of the Aldo Leopold Nature Center to help them bring Leopold awareness to the children who visit the Nature Center. I also work with a number of communities throughout the state to promote Leopold weekend.

What are your goals for the coming year?

One of this year’s goals is to increase Leopold awareness among citizens old and young. This I hope to do by continuing to hold LEP workshops and working with community leaders to involve citizens in caring for their land.

Why is LEP important?

The importance of Leopold’s land ethic cannot be underestimated. This curriculum carries a powerful message that can resonates with citizens of all ages.
