Strides: the Leopold Education Project publication
Strides, the Leopold Education Project’s quarterly newsletter, intends to communicate and provide encouragement, inspiration and support for workshop graduates and others to utilize A Sand County ALMANAC as part of their efforts to teach others about a land ethic.
Each issue contains information about upcoming local and national workshops, state coordinator contacts, latest news on LEP programs and developments, plus a mixture of articles including: the ways the LEP curriculum, Lessons in a Land Ethic, is utilized in formal and informal learning situations; curriculum extension ideas and activities; prose and poems developed from experiences with the curriculum.
