Construct benches and help place them in area parks. Learn about Aldo Leopold, a pioneer in conservation and his legacy to wildlife management and conservation.

This service project will include lessons in basic woodworking-how to use a table saw, miter saw, hand drill and sander. This class will offer a relaxed and fun atmosphere with plenty of supervision from experienced craftspeople.

When: Feb. 8, 22, Mar. 1; 6:30-8:30
Where: Riggs High School Woodworking Shop
Who: Ages 10-14
Cost: Discovery Center Members $15; Non-Members:$20 (tax included)
Minimum: 6
Maximum: 12

Participating scouts and 4-Hers earn badges and medals.
