Woodworking Class for Kids in Pierre, South Dakota
Join us at the Riggs High School woodworking shop for this great hands-on workshop. Construct benches and help place them in area parks. Learn about Aldo Leopold, a pioneer in conservation and his legacy to wildlife management and conservation.
This service project will include lessons in basic woodworking-how to use a table saw, miter saw, hand drill and sander. This class will offer a relaxed and fun atmosphere with plenty of supervision from experienced craftspeople.

Cost: Discovery Center Members $15; Non-Members:$20 (tax included)
